O'Reilly to call for the leveling of Fallujah?

Foxnews host Bill O'Reilly just previewed his show. "Problems continue for the U.S. Military in Fallujah. Why doesn't the U.S. Military just go ahead and level it?"

I have to say that I agree with Bill. Level the place.

I think the survival issue is a key one.

But I don't think we need to WHOLESALE stoop to their level.

I think we can be very harsh selectively, dramatically, vividly.

Perhaps we have to empty the city. Perhaps quarter by quarter.

Perhaps we have to level some large areas.

Perhaps we have to turn their mosques into pig pens.

Whatever, it needs to be dramatic, forceful, terminal, vivid and thoroughly in control.

It's against our nature and values to prevent the innocent any possibility of escape.

We don't need to become like them. But I'd make it challenging--a realtively short deadline to vacate the city with nothing more than say the food they can pack out.

Would provide water and maybe let the Red Crescent provide tents and toilets.

Then I think I'd remove every shred of arms including knives longer than pocket knife length from the whole city. And all terrorists etc. I identified, I'd level their homes and the homes of their relatives.

Something like that might be very needed.

This should not be turned into a law enforcemr=ent matter with its attendant army of trial lawyers. it is a military matter. As there has already been a cease fire, these creatures are unlawful combatants. Fighting this kind of enemy with Marquis of Queensnury rules is doomed to failure. Let the population of Fallujah give up the ghouls quickly, or pay a high price for harboring them.
