Good question, and not one that is as much a slam dunk as one would believe. After all, the eeeeeevillll SUV has a mind of its own. I wonder if the "manufacturer/deep pockets" rule would apply, or if the threat of the cops losing the money to buy their own SUVs is enough to push the liability back to you.
