If they caught 211,000 here, how many got through?

According to agents, they catch 1 in 5! I really resent a dime of my tax money supporting this invasion! We pay if they get thru and we pay if they don't! WHEN is this President going to punish the employers? If they would apply RICO to employers of illegal aliens and take away all of the Uncle Sugar/anchor baby freebies, they'd deport themselves...end of problem! The question is..WHY do our politicians support this invasion?

Since Jan. 1, (more accurately Jan. 7) the agency's Tucson sector has seen a 50 percent increase in the number of illegal immigrants caught compared to the same period last year.Wonder what happened in early January that might have caused this increase.
If you ask them, they will come

Several Border Patrol agents have told me that the days following the announcement of the great "guest worker scamnesty that ain't an amnesty" set some real records.
Numbers are now rising to match those of the Clintonista years.

Politics is the world's second oldest profession. It resembles the world's oldest profession, but is less respectable and results in even less savory bedfellows.

They are right.
ILLEGALS are well aware of the amnesty, it's been in the news in Mexico since the president announced the proposal.

The question is..WHY do our politicians support this invasion? The bigger question is WHY do our politicians think we welcome this invasion? Who convinced them that these are "hard-working people who only take the jobs that Americans won't do?" Grrrrr! That is such a farce!
My own little community here in TN seems to be encouraging illegals. I just discovered that La-Z-Boy, once an icon of community standards who would only hire high-school grads, is now hiring Mexicans who can't speak English (I don't know how to find out if they're illegals or not, but I'll report them in a heartbeat if I can find a way). The wages are now lower at the plant, a direct result of third-world competition.

This is not supposed to be something similar to fishing contest of catch and release. It's a battle and you stop them at the F.E.B.A. end of story.

The border is getting more and more like the FEBA. I've been shot at twice now since last August. Twenty years in the Army, eight tours in Korea, and the only times I got shot at were oopses by the ROKs. At least the Mexicans ain't packing mortars.

Some Border Patrol guys of my acquaintence tell me that their apprehensions have quadrupled lately. They got over a hundred in one shift the other night. Several months ago, a typical night might be 15-20. They're also traveling in massive groups as opposed to just a few.

In one paragraph, the tent cities are compared to Sheriff Joe's jail in Phoenix, yet in another they are said to be air conditioned. I don't think the Pink Prison is air-conditioned...I may be wrong, but...

"WHEN is this President going to punish the employers? "
That is really key, along with somehow changing the anti-American leanings of state and local authorities (not just gov't officials).
Otherwise we're simply digging a hole, putting the dirt back into the hole, only to repeat the process again and again.

"WHEN is this President going to punish the employers?"Have you seen this action alert from FAIR?
FAIR Action Alert: Federal Contractor's Security Act
FAIR is asking for help in building support for Rep. Marsha Blackburn's (R-TN) Federal Contractors Security Act, H.R. 4064. FAIR now has free faxes set up for its action alerts, just as NumbersUSA has been doing: http://capwiz.com/fair/issues/alert/?alertid=5472796&type=CO
The act would prevent federal contractors from hiring illegal aliens by requiring them to use the employment verification program on a mandatory basis where it is currently available and everywhere throughout the nation once the program becomes national by the end of 2004.
