It may be true they don't carry the brands you like in certain things, but apparently, they carry the brands a great many people want.

Thats true, and it is not always pleasant. Around here, they cater to the huge "immigrant" population. I'm sick of the cheap brands showing up on shelves as the only choice.

If those people wanting to save money do not mind sub-standard fare, thats fine. Some of us like our canned green beans without rocks and stems, and would like a place to buy them!

I find Wal-Mart's selection wide and varying. If you don't like them fine, that's your perogative, but you do seem to have an animus bordering on hysterical towards them, IMO.
