I thought Target owned Mervyns. Is Target owned by D-H. By the way, the Mervyns stores are for sale.

Dayton-Hudson changed its name (2000) to ''Target Corporation.'' Target Corp. owns Target, Mervyn's & Marshall Fields. In 2001, all of the Dayton's & Hudson's department store names were changed to ''Marshall Fields''. (Dayton's bought out Marshall Fields in 1990.)
