Finally, the RIAA makes a big hub-ub about the fact that stations pays for what goes on the stations. Radio stations have to pay music composers. They do not pay music performers. To the contrary, the RIAA pays lots of money to radio stations (using "promotional agencies" as fronts) so that stations will play their music and shut out the music of independent artists.
