Cindy,
Do you think the Schindlers drew blood from Terri, or that someone wanted it to look that way?

Lot's of things could have happened but I don't think they did it. I would have understood if they had but since they said they didn't I have no reason not to believe them. It has also been reported here that they were not allowed to be alone with her in private and that they left her sitting in a chair. They would not have left her in the position described IMO. That should be easy to determine by just asking the CNAs, "did you put her to bed after her parents left?
Was she aggitated after they left? Does she have an order for IV meds?
Was lab in the building ?
Who knows? If I was the one investigating I would sure find out though. There are too many people and witnesses working in these nursing homes to not be able to get to the truth.
Are people taking advantage of the situation? Well read their comments and you decide. The parents filed a CC that was denied yesterday. Today because of her condition the husband denies them visiting rights. Is this a gotcha? I don't know but I don't understand his reasons. What's the worst the family could do? Kill her?

The substandard care Terri has received points the finger back to the facility. Maybe they couldn't take the heat of the complaints filed for abuse.
Today, the St Pete times ran an article saying Terri's doc had said the wounds did not look like puncture wounds to him. Her tox screen was negative as well.
