No you have not been "under a rock" but rather founded upon the "ROCK"!

Now what is missing in the article is the date when this nation changed being call a "Christian" nation to Judeo-Christian nation. I would suggest it has been a recent modification, what might be called PC.

All writers of the New Testament, including Christ Himself, made the Old as the FOUNDATION of Christianity.

Sort of what I figured also. My question would be to what purpose though? Who are the likely winners and losers in this scenario?

I'm not sure I follow. Do you mean to say there are many principles established in the OT that flowed into Christianity? Is not the foundation of Christianity based on the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ?
