I would think the quisling brigade constitutes at least a small majority. I would guess that something like only 30 percent are friendly towards the US. It's the silent minority.

Funny, I've been here (Stavanger) over a week now & I've only met the friendly ones. Come to think of it, in my approx. 12 visits (not to mention the 4 months I lived & worked here) I only ever saw the anti-Americanism in the news. Must be lucky I guess.

You forget my friend, that a large number of Norwegians had the opposite view about 15 to 20 years ago. Tell me what happened to you. Did you forget WWII so easily??

Ah, depressing to read that; I was in Norway during the first Gulf War (among many other visits to that great nation) but have not been back since about 1994.

Sorry that my nation has lost the regard of so many of your countrymen, Euro, but thank you personally for standing by us. Norwegian special operations forces were with us in Afghanistan, and Norwegian F-16s backed us up. Good guys, brave, heirs to Viking heritage.
