What competitors!! This is an oligopoly, and even Bush is pissed off! Assuming that is true, why did the oligopoly wait until now to raise prices? Why has gas been so historically cheap throughout the 80's and 90's? Are the oil companies that stupid that they didn't think to raise prices until now?
