the solution these other nations ignore is to simply join the USA. How about some of these carribian islands simply joining the USA? If they really want to benefit as part of the US's ecconomy then they should join up.

I don't know where you get off saying most Americans are lazy. That is absolutely not the case. Americans are just as willing as Mexicans to do manual labor. We just won't dig ditches for $2.00 an hour. Because as taxpaying citizens, we can't live on such ridiculously low wages.

It's bizarre. A leading Norwegian politician was taken to court by Krekar on libel charges because he called Krekar a terrorist. Krekar lost the case, and had to pay something like 50 000 dollars for the legal fees. Krekar with no money of his own, just told the politician to go to the welfare office to collect the cash. Don't worry, we don't stop at the immigration policy, ..we encourage them to become small minority disadvataged contractors and give them SBA government contracting preferences so that we now pay roughly 8 times the cost for the same service by these similar immigrants or socialist business fronts. Immigrants cause a "modest" rise in medicaid and public school costs? And the hordes of immigrants increase the tax base? How do they do the latter, when they are working for cash, or, if they use a taxpayer ID, they apply it to wages of $10,000/yr or less where they pay NO TAXES. In fact, they are eligible for a pay OUT from the government in the form of the Earned Income Tax Credit. And the more children they have, the more tax "credit" they receive. Now, compare ten of these illegals making that 10K/yr with one well paid citizen making 100K/yr. Is it clear NOW who pays the taxes and who sucks up government benefits?

Its strange that you don't see that unending mass 3rd world immigration (both legal and illegal) into the United States is a boon to the Democratic party resulting in net gains in voters for them, which will then result in the election of Presidents, Senators, and Congressmen, and then the appointment of far left judges, who will guarantee the eternal existence of the New Deal type policies you decry.

It is unreasonable to expect that somehow the government will decide to abolish destructive programs like welfare and multiculturalism when we continue to import hundreds of thousands of natural customers of both each and every year.

And unlimited mass immigration is not a prerequisite to free trade. You don't have to live with or among a certain people to trade with them.
