Rush Limbaugh talked today of Al Gore's airport security plan in 1996, that was revised to weaken its original provisions. Airlines wanted no requirements that increased their costs. Campaign contributions from various airlines flowed in to the Clinton-Gore campaign within days of the weakening revisions. Link good only today:
