Correct, John Thune is running against Daschle in the June runoff election, What's this "runoff" crap? Thune and Daschle will oppose each other in November. No runoff.

The special election is to decide who will face off for the vacated seat in the House, once held by Janklow, who's serving time for vehicular manslaughter, in the General Election (November). How many times do I have to repeat that?
