This is an interesting bit of information, especially since he is refuting Clarke's testimony.

Correct, John Thune is running against Daschle in the June runoff election, Tim Johnson is currently the other Senator at the moment.

Does that mean you're cutting out early tonight?
Please don't.
This is going to be a late night for me.
Heat wave, and everyone is napping, except me.
I was dragging this afternoon, but now
I am invigorated for some odd reason!

YUKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!
MANSOOR--what an easy way to lose several thousand points in my estimation--which puts you considerably in the minus category.
So much for Mansoor's judgment!
Sigh.

He was a businessman donating to the party in power at the time. Nothing particularly interesting about that.
Though... it is interesting that there aren't any donations appearing for anyone (dems or otherwise) since 2000.

He contributed to Hillary, knowing by then, that Clinton was a flake. He had already turned down the offer for OBL.

Well...this means we can't trust him.

Been there done that.
Now I'm down to one 4 year old girl.
Good to know you'll be here.

Don't recall his name, but he's serving time in jail for manslaughter. Hence the reason for the special runoff election. His seat was vacated because of that trial and conviction earlier this year.

but what's the point of this thread .. Monsoor is already on record that he has in the past supported the demsyeah, but this is beyond just making a token donation to the party in power, which I could understand for a businessman in his position.
This is REALLY REALLY supporting the Dems to the tune of almost $80,000, which for me is around two years salary.
I never really did trust him. When I would see him interviewed on Fox News, most of the time he just uttered cliche's from the previous day's news without any real insight. And sometimes he was really off the wall on his blame in various matters international.
Couldn't always put my finger on why I didn't trust him, but it was just a feeling I always had about him.
This news doesn't make me feel any better about him. His rift with Clarke the Dick is probably just ego driven, and we should watch out to give him too much credibility, especially in his claims that he "negotiated" the capture of Osama bin Ladin (three times, he said) for the Clinton administration.

"Don't recall his name, but he's serving time in jail for manslaughter. Hence the reason for the special runoff election."You're referring to Janklow's vacant House seat. But I am sure Thune and Daschle are not involved in that race.

But I do understand your point about watching and keep an eye on him
Monsoor kind of reminds me of Geraldo .. they are both Dem supportors .. but when it comes to 9/11 and the terrorists ... they put their party aside and want to get the truth and get the bad guys

Given the Clinton administrations track record on terrorism, against Ijaz's knowledge of the region, along with his support of the Bush administration's policies on terrorism, I'd lend credibility toward Ijaz.
