Quite true. The Democrats will go the way of the Whigs if they don't come to an understanding of precisely what's at stake: the survival of the nation, and of the Dream that is America. Because the enemy is out to kill it, not merely chant against it.

Unfortunately (because it is, in truth, tragic) you are quite correct.

Some ideologies deadly to mankind - such as Marxism, Communism and Socialism - can be permitted to die out on their own. Others - such as Nazism, and increasingly radical Islam - need to be exterminated.
