SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - Ten thousand copies of an Illinois history that depicts indicted former Gov. George Ryan as a "courageous" public servant who "always placed the well-being of others first" have been sitting in a warehouse for more than a year as its promoters debate how to market them.

The nonprofit Illinois Executive Mansion Association published the glossy hardcover book with $300,000 in private funds in late 2002, near the end of Ryan's term. Ryan's wife, Lura Lynn Ryan, was chairwoman of the group.
well "oh duh" on the Ryan bullcrap in the book!
