These old newspaper clips are archived here to memorialize a story that must be revisited as John Kerry seeks to hold the nation's highest office. John Kerry crossed an important line in 1971. We see no letter from John Kerry to the CDW objecting to the way the newspaper seeks to exploit his activities. To this day, John Kerry does not express regret that CDW found in him the perfect "poster boy" to carry their word.
Interesting. Did Kerry know about the CDW photos or articles? Was he ever interviewed by them, or contacted by them?

I'm not thrilled about duplicate posts either, but I'm plenty glad of it for this one. (I too missed the first posting.) The material is rare -- almost unknown -- and important. It can surely use the emphasis of reposting. Thanks to you both.

Not really a duplicate post -- first one taken down and corrected for some minor errors == then reposted.

No, the VVAW at its core was avowedly anti-American, willing to propagate lies about "war crimes" allegedly committed by American soldiers on a daily basis. The lies by leftist swine everywhere continue. The public will not allow too much lying about our troops this time but America and the administration are fair game.
The leftist pig vomit tactics are the same.
The leftist scum use everything as an "issue" to attack, attack, attack. As David Horowitz pointed out, the issue is not the issue. It's the attack, attack, attack. It's "Bring it all down, man."
The events here in the U.S. during the Vietnam War must be an issue in this war and in this campaign.
Yet the deeper reality is that anyone literate at the time, anyone deeply involved in the political and moral struggle that was Vietnam, could scarcely ignore the impact of the extensive coverage given the VVAW's April 1971 protest in Washington
The pro-Ho "anti-war" crowd started acquiring ownership of the mainstream media in 1968 -- it was far from a hostile takeover. North Vietnam's most trusted American, Walter Cronkite led the takeover.
lies broadcast worldwide to undermine the American cause
How is it any different today?
Make the traitors then and now pay! Don't let another enemy general have reason to praise them for helping to move public opinion and humiliate our Republc.

I hope this link and others like it keep getting passed around on the net. My dad is in his early 60's and hes not a computer person. Serving to many tours (in my eyes anyway) in Vietnam my father tends to forget more about the war than remember but his disdain for Kerry tears right through him when you mention his (Kerry's) name. In fact he hasn't even finished listening to Kerry's description of our soldiers when he returned in 71. I was only about 6 months old when Vietnam ended but I'm proud of my father, my country and our soldiers no matter where they are. I do what I can to help my father out by spreading the word on Kerry's traitorous acts (this is what my family and I call it). My Dad ran the same plastic gunboats up the same river many of times, among other things. One more thing; allot of vets that care to forget the war cant immediately remember Kerry's doings in the 70's, this is why I think its imperative to try all avenues to remind them of who is running for the Presidency of the USA. Thanks for the link Sabertooth.
