Then back in the early 70s, the far left BCA (Berkeley Citizens Action) swept into office and the city (including the school system) declined rapidly, as the BCA indulged in its thievery and bizarre social experimentation. I think the whole total education system in California is screwed, from pre-school right up thru college. I don't think Arnold will do much to fix it either.
