Checked that site...those are indeed some fine-looking cap guns. Are they made in Italy? I didn't see any when I was there.

The company is Italian, yes. But I think they only sell wholesale. My father used to buy them at Toys R Us, believe it or not. Nowadays you can't buy good cap guns in America any more. I actually bought my son's M-16 cap gun in France, of all places, when I was over there visiting my dad last December.

They are beautifully realistic. The semiauto version pistols actually load strip caps in a clip, and the pistol severs and ejects the spent cap with each shot. By autumn, the entire neighborhood I grew up in would look like it had been rained on in red plastic. Everyone had to have the latest Edison gun. A damn shame they're not readily available here anymore.
