As was said in the article, the point is not that some lives are worth more than others. Not at all.
It's a way to explain percentages to the simple-minded. The argument is simply that, were we to suffer the percentage loss that the Israelis' do, we would tell the UN to kiss off and we'd go on a terrorist hunt.

We would also open the existing "concentration camps" for storage of the population demographic of the target terrorist sympathetic genre.
coming to america, in our lifetimes.
What we do to the radicals and their "peaceful" financial backers here in the USA, will make our treatment of "demographic cultural groups" during WWII, look like dinner and a date on a friday night.
for the non citizen resident terrorists... I would expect summary executions and military tribunals to abound, with a suspension of ANY hab corp.

It's a way to explain percentages to the simple-minded. You're right, of course. But I think the most illuminating analogy I've seen is one suggested by a Freeper: Israel is comparable in size and population to New Jersey; picture NJ suffering the attacks Israel has.
