I feel bad that she had a jerk of a husband and is probably a little nuts from it, but it's extremely ignorant to think that everyone who owns a gun acts the same way.

You assume that what she says has some grounding in reality. For all we know, the husband may just have had a duck-hunting gun, and was remarkably restrained, while SHE spent 22 years emotionally and physically abusing HIM until he walked out, and now she's making up dramatic stories to make herself right
