Referencing that fax number 202-338-2334 and running it through Google displays several entities using the same fax number. That must be one dang busy fax machine.

Curious.

One such entity is

This is from Covering Kids & Families Fact Sheet:

Covering Kids & Families Fact Sheet
In 2001, building on the success of Covering Kids, The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation launched
Covering Kids & Families, a $55 million, four-year national initiative to increase the number of eligible
children and adults who benefit from federal and state health care coverage programs. Many states have
expanded their health coverage programs to include parents and other adults who work in jobs that either
do not provide health care coverage benefits for their employees or provide coverage that is not
affordable.
Covering Kids & Families statewide and local coalitions work with public officials, health
professionals, educators, businesses, social service agencies and faith-based organizations to design and
implement strategies to:
Simplify enrollment and renewal processes for the State Children’s Health Insurance Program
(SCHIP) and Medicaid in an effort to make them more family-friendly
Coordinate SCHIP and Medicaid to achieve administrative efficiency and reduce enrollment and
renewal complexity for children and adults
Conduct and coordinate outreach programs to identify, enroll and retain children and adults who are
eligible
The Covering Kids & Families coalitions are building enduring national and regional capacity to carry
on program activities beyond the grant period.
Covering Kids & Families grants have been awarded to 45 states and the District of Columbia as of
April 2003. Enhanced awards have been granted to 15 states that have expanded coverage for adults to
enable them to work on special initiatives to identify, enroll and retain eligible adults. The Southern
Institute on Children and Families, located in Columbia, S.C., serves as the National Program Office for
Covering Kids & Families.
Covering Kids & Families Communications Campaign
To support the outreach efforts of the Covering Kids Initiative, The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation
launched the Covering Kids Communications Campaign in 2000. The Communications Campaign has
used paid and public service advertising, earned media, and corporate, organizational and media
partnerships to get the word out to working families that they may be eligible for health coverage
programs.
Outreach takes place year round but peaks annually with the Back-to-School enrollment drive. During
Back-to-School, Covering Kids & Families outreach events are held throughout the country to reach
families at a time when they are particularly focused on ensuring that their children’s health records are
in order for the beginning of the school year. The Covering Kids & Families Communications
Campaign is managed by The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and is administered by GMMB, a
strategic communications firm based in Washington, D.C.
Covering Kids & Families is a national program of The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the largest
philanthropy in the country dedicated exclusively to improving the health and health care of all
Americans.

Who owns the website?
Is this just a chance for someone to get campaign contributions funneled from conservatives?

I don't know. I just happened across that thread (blog) from a google search on that fax number. I noticed it was fairly lengthy, similar to this FR thread. I noticed the dates between 23-01-04 and 21-02-04 (January and February).

The info didn't get much traction then. Maybe some media or talk show will pick it up now that Kerry is the presumptive annointed one.

I'm not getting this.

It seems that every time we turn over a new rock, new questions emerge.

I'm not sure of the Reiner connection. It showed up while tracing the fax number for a job opening listed as being in Seattle, WA for GMMB. The commonality in posts 43 and 44 is the fax number. They all have the same one.

I am totally perplexed now. What is the take on all this?

Same here .. and the fact that I was at a party all day isn't helping either *L*

I'm guessing it has something to do with a dummy company ... which kind of sounds like money laundering

Hey Tom .. what's your take?

Toricelli.

Wasn't there a story about Toricelli using money from his campaign funds .. I think it was 50K to do some media attack on Dean during the primaries?
