In the long run, you are right. But for now, Eisner controls billions of dollars worth of assets and thousands of employees and he has a lot of power. He has not been interested in getting a good return on those assets and employees but rather has wanted to use them to say what he wants said. Eventually, he will either lose control of his Disney empire or he will run it into the ground. Then he will have no power.
