Hmmmm, they didn't put the number of php web sites on there. The chart would have to have been a logarithmic scale. The other technologies would not have even come close.

I will say that .net certainly has been beating java in the propaganda war for several years!

.net gets your whites whiter! your brights brighter! it'll even make julian fries!

But that's not all . . . if you order in the next 15 minuts . . .

Hey, for some people that kind of stuff is persuasive. What ever floats your boat. .net, Java, it's all flavors. I like mine, you like yours. .net will have a future, because marketing does work. Will it dominate? Will it live up to the promises? That remains to be seen.

Java is the right solution for the problems facing me.

But YMMV.

I have never used Java- just on principal- it sucks and always did.

As a carreer choice I stuck with Microsoft and Microsoft alone- and I am so happy I did.

Linux users are sometimes worse than liberals- they look down on you if you don't believe what they believe

hahahahahahaha... lets see its only using JSP if the page itself references JSP, or that the URL has SERVLET inside the URL... Likewise its ASP if it mentions ASP in the HTML source code....

Hahaha very inaccurate sampling methods as there no rule that SERVLET be in the URL for the result to be a servlet, and under the MVC and Command Design patterns, the user never askes for a specific page by its stored name or type anyway.

The fact is, it rates COLD FUSION as the most used engine... which I can tell you for a fact is one of the suckiest pieces of software out there, and does not even remotely rate as the most used model of deploying enterprise web/distributed applications.

APACHE is still the #1 serve, Servelets and JSPS are still far, far far more common than anything from MS has, or will ever offer. Tomcat runs more systems than .NET for crying out loud....

Nice try.
