Amazing that conservatives didn't fight harder to keep this ultra-leftwing activist fanatic off the bench.

I am sorry, but this woman is just so, how should I put this? Unattractive?

I am sorry, but this woman is just so, how should I put this? Unattractive? And this is relevant to her jurisprudence exactly how?

I think someone made a mistake.
It should read: judges should avoid outside hunting activities that cast reasonable doubt on the capacity to decide impartially any issue that may come before them.
Yeah. That's what it really should have said. Let them have a dose of their own medicine, and let it be oxycontin!!!

Regretably she is no worse than David Souter. The Republicans really have been snookered on Supreme Court Appointments.

At that rate, the worlds most populous country may have as many as 40 million more men than women by 2020. 40 million men with no possibility of starting a family, and of military age in 2038. You suppose they might be a bit antsy by then?

I do wish to pontificate that I posted several comments re Scalia/ Cheney, stating I was sure Ruth Bader Ginsburg had lots of friends who support liberal causes that come before the court.
But then, this was a no brainer. As usual, I have to despair that the republican leadership didn't jump all over this.

They are calling upon Scalia to recuse himself from the Cheney case. The other plaintif is the Sierra Club. How many justices will recuse themselves for being a member of, or donating to that organization?

No, they have been lazy - big difference.
Her activities were not a secret prior to her nomination - it's just that the Republicans are so lazy they did not feel the need to do their work, so they didn't.

Maybe Ginsburg would have better luck in China.
