By the time the November Election arrives, the public will not like Kerry.

I already utterly detest the man.

Liberals like Kerry are such POS.

And speaking of foul mouthed. I thought Jimmy Carter's comment that Ralph Nader should go back to investigating the rear ends of automobiles was crass and demeaning, and meant to be!

His sanctimonious tone is offensive enough in itself.
But coming from an unprincipled flip-flopping opportunist..it is totally intolerable.
I almost always have to hit the mute button when he's appears on my TV.

I believe the contrast between GW, who is a principled, down to earth and likable man, and Kerry who is lofty arrogant and phony, will become very evident in the debates.

I asked my wife tonight, who is not a political junkie but is a pro life, pro gun, pro military veteran of the US Army, which guy was more personable, Gore or Kerry.

She said Gore by far. We had just finished watching one of Kerry's spiels on the evening news while eating dinner. She laughed and said no way he can beat Bush.

I trust her judgment implicitly. :-}

I met Kerry and Morgan Fairchild when they sat in front of me at a Boston Bruins game in 1988. She was a class act when it came to signing an autograph and making small talk. He was a complete a**hole, mostly because Morgan was the center of attention.

That's what happens when you were never potty-trained.

Yeah, and she's made it big by doing Old Navy commercials, and he's just an old Navy commie.

I've really enjoyed this insightful, informative, and might I say principled discussion.

LOL!! Morgan's still hot in her fifties. Bet when he looks at Theresa when he has to give her the once a month obligatory "servicing" he thinks, "What have I done?"

"I wonder if he calls his wife "lovey"."

Are you talking about, "Tir-ayysah"?

If, I'm not mistaken she changed the pronunciation of her common name, "Teresa", after her husband decided to run for President.

THEY... are American soldiers in Vietnam according to Hanoi John. The Quote is from "Vietnam Veterans Against the War Statement by John Kerry to the Senate Committee of Foreign Relations

April 23, 1971

"I would like to talk on behalf of all those veterans and say that several months ago in Detroit we had an investigation at which over 150 honorably discharged, and many very highly decorated, veterans testified to war crimes committed in Southeast Asia. These were not isolated incidents but crimes committed on a day-to-day basis with the full awareness of officers at all levels of command. It is impossible to describe to you exactly what did happen in Detroit - the emotions in the room and the feelings of the men who were reliving their experiences in Vietnam. They relived the absolute horror of what this country, in a sense, made them do.

They told stories that at times they had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Ghengis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam in addition to the normal ravage of war and the normal and very particular ravaging which is done by the applied bombing power of this country."

Good gravy, that's an appalling statement. I thought it was a reference to the VC. Thanks!

These are not characteristics that would make me vote for the President of the USA, but there are certain things I notice about President Bush that I like and admire.

1. He and Laura have a good marriage.

2. They both have a healthy respect for their dogs (well, Spot is gone) and cat. I read some place that President Bush took in India, their cat, as a stray. High marks in my book.

3. And last, but not least, is President Bush's love for our military personnel. I will never forgot him landing on the Lincoln and how well received he was by the military abroad. And when I think of watching him arrive in Iraq on Thanksgiving Day - well, watching our military guys and gals screaming their thanks for President Bush being there for them I still get chills of pride and joy.

I've seen enough of John Kerry to know that he is completely unlikeable, too foreign, too pro-UN and downright frightening to be President of the greatest country the world has ever seen.

"What have I done?"

I'm quite sure she asks herself the same thing. With her money, she could have done a lot better!
