I was just invited to participate as a guest on the Ernest Hancock radio talk show on KFNX 1100 AM in Phoenix. Hancock is a libertarian talk host, his scheduled guest today had to cancel and I was invited to fill in as a last minute substitute.
We'll discuss my novel "Enemies Foreign and Domestic" and other freedom-oriented topics. I'll be on the air beginning after 5PM Pacific time, 6PM Mountain time. You can listen to live streaming audio here on KFNX 1100. Then you can tell me if I sounded terrified, drunk, crazy, lucid, brilliant or whatever.

Eaker is slow... glacially so.
This young lady takes it all in stride, with absolute confidence.

COngrats on the interview Matt! Keep knockin' 'em over!
Proud to say, even if it was just the slightest bit, that I had something to do with those stickers/t-shirts/slogan in your post 57!
Going to go and order some up.
To: Jeff Head
Thanks Jeff! You sure did have a hand in that sticker, it went through a lot of changes, but I think the very first time the snake met the rifle was on your computer!

They are cool T-Shirts and stickers.
I am thinking of getting some of the Molon Labe and these stickers and tieing them together into a long bumper sticker, like so:
Also, BTW, Volume IV of my Dragon's Fury Series has now been the number one featured Adobe and MSReader ebook on Powells for five weeks running together. Adobe HERE and the MSReader HERE.

libertarians are dorks - yes you are right that guy talked way to much. Mat on the other hand was cool and collected and right on point.

The problem I have with Molon Labe is that it is 100% "inside baseball." Only the most well-read hard core RKBA advocates have a clue what it means. You might as well put the letters on backwards or upside down. They mean nothing to 99.99% of Americans. That's just how I see it.

That's why I tied the two together. Tieing them together will get the other term associated with more well known RKBA terminology for those who aren't in on the story or the meaning.

Well, a Tucson show led directly to a Phoenix show, so who knows? If you know any talk hosts, maybe you can suggest me as a possible guest?

I think that myself and another guy you know this way will drop a suggestion...
For the most part, I enjoyed the clarity of purpose that the book was intended to represent...
Your last major point was something I have thought all along...
The callers had some good stuff as well to say...
If anything it'd be interesting to take this across the country and get the kind of callers from those areas and really see how the attitudes change from city to city...
Its kinda like taking a temperature of a child...You never really know till you do it...echhh...Its late...
I'm confused...hehehe
We'll get back with you soon...
Later,
Steve

Well each contact and experience in radio has led to more of them, so I'm hopeful I'll get something rolling. These "what would it take to start resistance" questions really bring out some provacative callers, and that makes for strong radio.

I too think linking the two together is a good idea.
First of all, I think maybe more people than one might think, know what the words mean. Also it is a perfect catch phrase once it does get commonly known.
If people see that phrase enough times, their curiosity will be piqued, causing them to question what it means. The story of King Leonidas defiantly saying those words in reply to Darius works on so many levels.

I think it is interesting (if people are willing to divulge) where those "lines" are with them...
One of the ideas I got out of the book...
There was outrage on both sides of the issue amoungst the masses, but there was focused, determined, individual action (albiet drastic) on the side that could make a difference...And force the issue to take a step back and see that it was not a good direction to proceed down...

I think that until "Molon Labe!" becomes a phrase that's well known, it should always be accompanied by the phrase "Come and take them!" and a picture of some rifles. That way its meaning is clear, and it's a "vocabulary lesson" for the sheeple.

I'll come up with the "Come and Take Them" graphic with the cannon for the left side of that bumper sticker. Great idea and spot on.
