I suspect he has changed his mind about gay marriage and civil unions.

GW is personally leading Kerry into this minefield. Once Kerry adopts his pro-gay stance...he loses all of the southern states, from Texas to Virginia. Toss out NY, and the entire west coast to Kerry...and the rest of the nation will likely lean toward GW. To allow this whole issue to be on the national agenda for the presidential race...is very stupid. I would prefer to have jobs, the economy, and Iraq as our top issues. Gay marriages ought to be way down at issue 99.
