Oh goody, more pics! Going to have to remember to ping you to PetroniDE's thread on Mondays about Kitty's.
Can't afford the pet deposit so I can't have a pet, but would love to have one. I really miss my Tinker Bell.

Give Binky a snuggle for me. The one reason, besides the boys, that I like to babysit at Angela and Dales is Jr the orange sherbert cat and Sly the Siamese who likes to play tag and the two dogs.
Jr makes sure that he gets plenty of love and then he gives it right back. He is enormous, must weight about 15 pounds. He hears my voice and comes running!

I love cats. I love lots of animals, but especially cats. We always had a couple when I was a kid, and hubby likes them too...we seem to end up taking care of a stray here and there- we've now got one indoor cat, 2 outdoor, and an outdoor dog too lol

Daddy use to say that he was allergic to cats, that is until my sister and I smuggled a momma cat and her kittens into our bedroom. We managed to keep them there for a week before we were caught. After that Daddy couldn't use allergies as an excuse any longer. In fact, Daddy use to bring home stray cats more often than I did! We were about even on the puppies though!

lol that's funny.
My father always acted like he didn't want any pets- but somehow he was the one named all the animals we had over the years. He was pretty good at it too-
a Siberian Husky "Serko" (Russian for "wolf")
And the assorted cats:
Bagheera (the panther from Kipling's The Jungle Book)
Sinbad
Siewa (a bluepoint siamese- not sure where he got that name- it is a Japanese emperor among others. The cat was female though).
etc

My brother and his best friend found a baby raccoon. They took it to the friends house and the boy's mom wouldn't let them keep it so Mikel brought it home to me.
Momma and Daddy were at Ganems, so I called and asked if I could keep the raccoon. Daddy said h377 no! Get that thing out of there before I get home.
Well, knowing my Daddy, we fixed a box and I gave it some of my son's (who was a baby) formula. When Daddy walked in the door, the first thing that he asked was if we had gotten rid of the blankety blank thing, I said no, it's in that box.
Daddy walked over saying that he would get rid of it. Opened the box, looked in and named it Edgar Allen Coon...

My father did not like cats - yep- "until..."
As we were moving from Coral Gables, Florida to Melbourne when I was 9, a kitten wandered into the open kitchen door and saw the door under the sink open. She was exploring the empty space, not knowing the danger of the scorpion who had lived there.
Its bite paralyzed her, and Daddy gave in to my pleas to take her with us, tucked securely on her back in my doll's cradle lined with a blanket.
She soon had "her" basket on the hearth of the fireplace in the new house, and he was smitten with da kitten..:))
On sunny days, she was taken out into the sunshine to bask.
Bit by bit, she recovered.
Daddy had a great sense of humor and deliberated over the suggested names, and finally came up with his uncontested winner - -
Kitsuellenkatsenbergerburgalarooskyborscovitch - -
( Kit suellen kat sen berger burgala roosky bors co vitch )
nicknamed Kitsuellen or just Kitsu...I still laugh about the memories of the long line of 'Others' that followrd..:)
