Well, according to the EUroweenies, Bush IS the cause of Global warming because he "unsigned" the Kyoto Protocols, so, yes, he will be blamed. (They actually DID blame him by name for the flooding in Europe two years ago!! - not the Environazi's - the media!!)

Nope.
El Nino, per se, is purely a Pacific phenomenon, in terms of water temps, etc. but of course it does affect flow patterns worldwide in the atmosphere.
And actually there is no El Nino, or La Nina, right now. It's "La Nada"...neither. The Pacific has been basically neutral for a rather long time.

Hey John,
Yeah, that is something isn't it! I nearly fell out of my chair when I saw a satellite image of it. I guess it was bound to happen one of these days though.
