March 26, 2004 -- Opponents of U.S. Iraq policy have painted a distorted picture of how the country has progressed in the year since the war started, an expert on the region said last night.
The forming of new political parties, businesses and "thousands of small enterprises," and the return of refugees since the fall of Saddam Hussein "is totally ignored," Post columnist Amir Taheri told a forum at The Pierre hotel last night.

I think theres so much political division here that itll be a generation or two before the real story of our success in Iraq is clear to the world.

If the dims and there leftists minions ever get control of this country again, in a generation or two, we may need the Iraqis and Poles to come and help us restore liberty.

Thanks for the ping RC.
The Dems ignore this at their peril. I can see a long video presentation at the Republican convention on all the great things happening in Iraq. It could really hurt Kerry.
People love success stories.

Opponents of U.S. Iraq policy have painted a distorted picture of how the country has progressed in the year since the war started, an expert on the region said last night. Democrats and their media lie to advance their partisan agenda--which now runs counter to the success of liberty and democracy.
God Bless our coalition heroes and the historic work they do so well.
