No, they didn't know. Because he contradicted in public what he said in private.

One of the panel members commented on this yesterday.

Two of them actually called him on it Thompson and Launder (sp)

The two co-chairmen Lugar and ????? commented on how he changed the release date of the book to coincide with his testamony and about the money he was making....and the "problems" with his testamony....during their joint press conference yesterday.

I emailed Dick Lugar today with the facts re: his contributions only to the "D" party, His relationship with the media (didn't know about this one), and his obvious lies.......That CLarke was underminding the Commission and no one would take it seriously if something wasn't done.

Let see how it plays out.

Some of them were given advanced copies. Yes, they did know. You can also bet that the ones, who met at Al Franken's apartment, in New York, to help make Kerry a better candidate, knew also, which was Howard Fineman, Frank Rich, Michael Isokoff, Jeff Greenfield, etc.
