Exactly! I wouldn't doubt that Bubba himself is dumb enough to actually perpetuate this story - despite the glaring error. Bubba is hoping to earn a PhD in re-writing history. He just isn't very quick on his feet, however.

By the way, note to all Dems and Richard Clarke: Perhaps Bush and his team were obsessed with Iraq because Iraq actually posed a threat to the Mideast and to the world? Is it possible?
