Brit Hume commented last evening that Kerry had been faxing excerpts from Clarke's book to all the media outlets.

He wondered why Kerry jumped on the bandwagon so quicly and without forethought

I wonder if this is an attempt by the media to get this story behind them before Kerry reappears on the campaign trail and has to answer questions.

Hmm. Interesting observation, I didn't hear Brit make that remark about Kerry (I assume you mean John Kerry not Bob Kerrey)

Missed that, very interesting info. It's also kinda interesting that Kerry just happened to take his vacation right NOW during the book brouhaha. Coincidence? I think not...

I REALLY want to know which reporters/networks were sitting on this briefing info after the White House released them from confidentiality...
