It seems to me that the Democrats, being out of power and having little else to do now that Clinton's bimbo eruptions are no longer on the front page, did a pretty good job of preparing for these "Show hearings." They coordinated their message and recruited defectors like O'Neil and Clarke. They got their talking points out and into the news coverage. The Bush Administration, no doubt distracted by some trivial task like leading the Free World or trying to kill Bin Laden, did not put as much effort into managing The Show.

I cannot argue with Bush's priorities, but we do need to do a better job of coordinating our own counter-attacks and we need to launch an offensive of our own. I suggest the time is right to highlight Kerry's dismissals of the threat of terrorism. The issue is at the forefront at the moment, thanks to The Show. Clearly, among Bush, Kerry, and Nader, only Bush can say he had a pre 9-11 plan to battle terrorism and he currently ranks the War on Terror as his main priority. Clarke's spin on history cannot change this fact in the present. Attack where the enemy is weakest, and the enemy is Kerry!

You are correct in your assumption the Democrats are likely to turn a hearing of import into a sports event.

The thought of Madeline Albright in a cheerleader's outfit sends me into seizure lol.

It must be terrible to know you look up to liars for your political beliefs, having nothing better to lead you.

I would as soon have a vote for "one who can be trusted" and puts honesty above "favorite of the media."

It is a vote after all - people have died for that. And yet some invest that precious part of the democratic process in thuggery. Even the media pander to it.

Shame on them.
