I clipped this out of a Reuters story. Wasn't Kerrey refering to Clinton plan when he made the comment below? If so Reuters surely didn't make that clear.

Commission member Bob Kerrey, a former Democratic senator, zeroed in on what he said were severe shortcomings in the plan adopted by the Bush administration to fight bin Laden's al Qaeda organization just days before Sept. 11.

"I was briefed this morning on that plan. I would say fortunately for the administration it's classified because there's almost nothing in it," he said.

I thought he was talking about the Clinton plan as well. It certainly isn't being reported that way.

I listened to that part of the hearings this AM while getting ready for work. The way I heard it, Kerrey was blasting the Bush admin's plan. I thought Kerrey was being highly partisan. George Tenet basically stopped trying to answer Kerrey, because all the latter did was give a speech, not ask a question.
