A couple were making plans to go vacationing in Yosemite.
The wife expressed her concern about camping because of
bears and said she would feel more comfortable in a motel.

The husband said that he'd like to camp and to calm her
concerns, they would talk to the park ranger to see what the
likelihood of a bear encounter would be.

The ranger told them, "Well, we haven't seen any grizzlies
in this area so far this year, or black bears, for that
matter."

The wife shrieked, "There's TWO types of bears out here? How
can you tell the difference? Which one is more dangerous?"

The ranger replied, "Well, that's easy, see, if the bear
chases you up the tree and it comes up after you, it's a
BLACK bear. If it SHAKES the tree until you fall out, it's a
grizzly."

The motel room was quite nice.

What fears do you struggle with?

Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the
gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power,
and of love, and of a sound mind.

Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord,
nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the
afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; who
hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not
according to our works, but according to his own purpose and
grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world
began, but is now made manifest by the appearing of our
Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath
brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.

Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a
teacher of the Gentiles. For the which cause I also suffer
these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom
I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep
that which I have committed unto him against that day.

Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of
me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. That good
thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost
which dwelleth in us. -2 Timothy 1:6

Thanks for the info. Probably should go down there about the same time that The Masters is being played in Augusta. Everything is usually in full peak in that area around that time.

SPRING CLEANING, GACK, AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!! Sighhhhhhh, guess that it must be done...

We missed you this weekend in Fayetteville, you would have had a good time. Quite a selection of FReepers were there to support our Men and Women in the Military.

When is the Masters? Augusta is close to Aiken and Aiken is close to LadyX. There is also a golf tournament at Hilton Head (I can't remember the name of it.) and a Tennis Tournament here in Charleston - The Family Circle Cup, I believe.

"Like whatever you do."

That's why it's always a good idea to put your favorite music on the stereo while cleaning the house. :)

When is the Masters?

Think it's around the 9th of April this year. It's too late to plan to go down this year, need to make a note on my calendar to go to Charleston the first week in April next year!

"Add to that note to let LadyX and Dixie and VisualOps know so that we can meet."

We can have a "girls night out" either here or over in Aiken.

I think I wish I would never get a preview of threads before they're posted, because it's so nice to be surprised and get to say for the first time *on* the thread how beautifully done they are! :)

Such gorgeous colors and flowers! Spring is definitely in the air on this post!

See now, Dave, why Aqua wanted you to save some of those wonderful photos for today! (I *did* tell you how pretty it was, Texagirl, didn't I?) :)

Even if some temperatures are still saying "Winter", one gets the feeling of Spring here today. :)

A good morning to you Aqua. A fitting presentation since it appears Spring has finally arrived here.

It's hard to come up with any criticism. The only thing I didn't like was the "welcome graphic." :-)

How could I refine them without your input? :)
Thanks for your opinion on a few things...as usual you were right.

Hi Aqua....Absolutely beautiful. All the flowers and the poems are so special. The daffodiles are first to bloom here...mine are about 3 inches and survived our recent cold spell. They should be blooming in about a week...then I'll know it's spring! And today it's supposed to get in the 60's. Yippee!!!! Thanks for bringing us such a beautiful thread.
