REALITY CHECK- I trust all are realising that Imus has been a Viacom aka Platonic Love Boy of CBS-Viacoms cheif, Mel Karmazin ( the CBS_Viacom merger is the deal I've wanted to make, I think, from the time I was bar-mitzvahed"). This man is a stooge for Viacom when he is not trying to keep his trophy wifes charity and his ranch in play.

This allows commentators to shrug and say Fox is as biased as everybody else, just in a different direction - when, in fact, the unforgivable thing the mainstream press does (and Fox doesn't) is distort factual news.

You're absolutely right. It's amazing to me how many people, including plenty of Freepers, can't seem to grasp that simple distinction. Many don't seem to understand the difference between "opinion and news analysis" (Rush and O'Reilly, for instance) and straight news (Brit Hume).

No one should ever object if a declared partisan (like Rush or Alan Colmes) makes partisan statements. What's evil and reprehensible is to pretend you're "objective" (like Dan Rather or the L.A. Times) then slant the straight news dishonestly to the Left.

Leslie Stahl is a piss poor excuse for a commentator and as a public figure deserves condemnation for that slanted, ideological piece of trash Sunday night.

Now given, Imus has been on life support for 10 years now and is definitely full of himself. But he does get the interview and knows when someone is pulling a fast one.

Would not be suprised if the parent company asked Mrs. Stahl to take one for the team and let Imus crucify her.

#1 The stupid or the desperate who without any sense of self worth or pride and are looking for their life to be supported in public handouts.

#2 They are joined by the socialists that believe the power and good of a country is from the bottom up and that the workers alone are the elite that make the country go and that employers along with visionaries are secondary. #3 Activists & the Politicians of their party have an interest FIRST in their own agenda, version of culture, gaining personal wealth through the back door while in office and power over the good of the country. The politicians grow power by handing out the treasury through regular welfare, and in the form of created bloated government jobs. ............................................................

We could go on and on, but the core of the matter is that on the Democrat side they are anti-God and pro-god. They are into humanism where they put the real God on their level to create a new heathen god instead. The absence of the real God is a good definition of HELL. We have a society based on 8 of the ten commandments more or less that are spread out over 50,000 laws... LOL

Bottom line you have good people and on the other side the "Dark Side" which cuddles the shadows and forbidden things which diminish the spirit of man.

Sorry I could not be more uplifting in my description.

I think every individual thinks of themself as a really great person, so they see no fault of their own at all.
