Thanks for posting this.
Since Saber posted the first thread re the shooting of the senator, I have asked myself where was I at that time.
At that time of our life, my wife and I were news junkies and watched the evening tv news nightly. Neither of us remembered this event.

There's a big dog here that ain't barking. How can a senator get shot and not get any news coverage? Well, one way of keeping a watchdog from barking is to poison the watchdog.
The usual holy trinity for a criminalist is to determine means, motive and opportunity. And for a start in determining that second one, you have to ask qui bono- who benefits.
