I don't condone sex in public. I think its tawdry and cheap and the consequences of getting caught isn't worth the thrill. If a couple wants to make love, there are appropriate places to do it.

I'm sorry. Your post was the last one before mine and I just tagged a post off of your post. I was being lazy since I wasn't addressing anyone in particular but infact the article itself - I should have scrolled up. I concur completely with your statement.

That being said, the thrill of getting away with something is a universal desire, no matter what sexual preference. But to try to codify it is insane. They want their cake (satisfy themselves while shocking the legitimate public users) while having their cake too (codify it so that they don't get arrested.) That is what is sickening and reflects the departure from the late 50's and early 60's civil rights movement where an arrest was expected and worn as a badge of honor while today's civil rights establishment wants to violate laws they feel are illegitimate while wanting to suffer no consequences.

For your average hetro couple, sex in a public place is a sort of "once in a lifetime" thing. Like the "mile high club". It's done more for funny bones adventure than anything else.

I imagine that more than half of all normal couples have at least exchanged gropes and giggles in semi-public circumstances, but you know darn good and well that is not what we are talking about here.

Gay public "restroom sex" is in-your-face pernicious, promiscuous, rude, uncivilized and disgusting. Those who practice it are out there every night, often at the same place -- and there is really no way to stop it.

Flush them out of one park, they just go to another.
