In the matter of DLs for illegals?
No, I don't see activism as the force behind the GOP senators' position.
The public at large hates the very idea.
To me, this is a no-brainer.

In the matter of DLs for illegals? ... The public at large hates the very idea. ... Yet it is the law in some states.

But you see, we're all doomed, and there are traitors in our midst!
And if you don't mind, would kindly deposit a small donation so I can continue to remind you of this!

Shhh. Don't argue with the patients. If he thinks he's Marshall Dillon, let him be Marshall Dillon. Nothing is going to change and Arnold will continue to do what he said he would do.

Assemblyman John Campbell was on the John and Ken Show last week (maybe the week before), and was asked about SB 1160. He said he would oppose it, and didn't think there were enough Republicans to pass it. He said there would have been last year, because the Pubbies in the Assembly and State Senate had no idea how strongly the voters were opposed to any kind of CDL for Illegals. What changed between last year and this year?
