Mexico's importance to U.S. national security

HUH?? Did anyone see Mexico rise up to help us after 9/11? The only area of Mexican expertise is in shipping their poverty to the USA.

Somebody please explain why Mexico is important to US nat'l security, unless they mean like Syria is important to Israeli nat'l security.

Two theories:

1--Fox is threatening to campaign for Kerry

2--Fox is promising cheap gas

I can't find any other reasons than these two why we have to endure watching Bush suck up to someone who opposes the WOT...
