Could it be that some Americans are finally awakening to the fact if we don't do something about the open borders policy, we are no longer going to live as a free nation?
This Cedillo character seems to think he has Gov. Arnold in his back pocket.

While this is encouraging, remember that in December, the Senate Republicans had a firm pact re: a spending cap. 2 Senators caved in to the democrats.... and, when added to the dems, it only takes 2 Republicans to get a majority.
Until we know for sure.... keep up the only defense!

McClintock Ping... on KFI640 @ 5:00PM
Senator Tom McClintock will be going to the Senate Education Committee next week with a bill to stop Community Colleges and CSUs from allowing illegal immigrants to pay in-state tuition fees (which they can do now).
Senator McClintock will be on the John and Ken show today at 5pm. He will also give an update as to the latest on what he is hearing on the Cedillo drivers license bill.

We have contacted all the Republicans in the State Senate and the State Assembly asking one question- how will you be voting on Senator Gil Cedillo's Illegal Alien Driver License Bill (SB1160). After hours of phone calls and playing phone tag, we have compiled a list of Legislatures that have answered our question. If you DO NOT see your Senator or Assembly member, then they have replied with a big fat NO to SB1160. For those who have not replied to any phone messages or seem to be on the fence about the issue, we have kindly made available their contact information. We urge you to call them and let them know that SB1160 is wrong for California.

Good. Now let Schwarzenegger forever denounce CDLs for Illegals, and Amnesty by any other name while he's at it.

The Democrats can pass it but it can only take effect next January 1st. That gives us plenty of time to round up signatures for another referndum. Let's hope cooler heads prevail in the State Legislature cause 70% of Californians are against drivers' licenses for illegal aliens, period.

(Dude, where's my country?)

The coming numerical dominance of California's burgeoning Latino population was confirmed by the Census Bureau in July 1997. In 49 years, only 13.8 percent of Los Angeles County will be white and 69.1 percent will be Latino a consequence of two amnesties for three million illegal aliens, sieve-like borders, and the high levels of legal immigration that have made Los Angeles the second largest Mexican city in the world.
Our country never was the globalist's to gamble with nor a gift for Washington to give away. And to whom will all the good accrue from this dismembering? But it is past undoing now and time has run out at least for California.
So say your fond farewells! Mecha means fuse, and it is lit.

The demonstrations of "ethnic pride" that marked Proposition 187 may have been a surprise to some, but for the Ford Foundation it represented the culmination of a quarter century of "Hispanic community-building." It was the fruition, however unintended, of Ford's manipulation of education, immigration, and government policies to create a new identity in America:"that of the Hispanic."
During the past two decades, the Ford Foundation has concentrated on programs for the expansion of Hispanic political mobilization, litigation to "clarify the rights" of immigrants, and research on immigration and reform legislation.
