This is such an important issue; I can't believe that the author gave it a word length that virtually assures that no one will read it. Retired Border Patrol Agent John Slagle is not a writer by trade. He wrote a book and he's written a couple of articles. He could use better editing, obviously, but at least he's speaking out about the issue.
