I guess this is not the right time to bring up the fact that today you (and other taxpayers) paid me 37.5 cents per mile for 122 miles plus a per diem of $23.50 (which is 3/4 daily per diem) and are also paying for my $55.00 (government rate) hotel room. Tomorrow, you will pay me to drive home at the same rate.
