March 23, 2004 -- RICHARD Clarke is the greatest man who has ever strode this planet's surface. I know this because I have just read his book, "Against All Enemies."

Some might suggest that the book is a distorted, false, sour-grapes account from a demoted government official who wants to settle scores and destroy the Bush administration in which he served as a holdover staffer from the Clinton years.

A lot of arrogant men have trouble working for a woman.

In the 60 min interview, Clark seemed bitter and full of hatred, named Condi a lot.

Turns out he worked for Condi, was demoted by Condi, never showed up to most of Condi's meetings....

Read between the lines...

Please, Clark is a brilliant man. Consider this idea he proposed:

In 1986, as a State Department bureaucrat with pull, he [Clark] came up with a plan to battle terrorism and subvert Muammar Qaddafi by having SR-71s produce sonic booms over Libya. This was to be accompanied by rafts washing onto the sands of Tripoli, the aim of which was to create the illusion of a coming attack. When this nonsense was revealed, it created embarrassment for the Reagan administration and was buried.

Applying logic to liberals is like using honey to lubricate an internal combustion engine.

In the months after 9/11, the Bush administration refused - absolutely refused - to try to blame the attacks on the Clinton administration's failure of vision. The nation needed to be united in its determination and could not afford to surrender to finger-pointing.

Well, guess what? The Clinton administration's senior foreign-policy officials will be appearing this week before the 9/11 commission - to do to the Bush administration exactly what the Bush administration refused to do to them.

The next time we hear the Democrats charge that Bush broke a campaign promise to be a "uniter rather than a divider," we should keep this mind.

This is part of an orchestrated campaign.

And a rather pathetic one, I might add. For the Democrats' sake, and for my amusement value, I hope they get a little better at this as the campaign progresses.

So we have O'neil, now Clarke writing books about how bad it was working in the Bush administration. Anyone want to bet that Tenet's resignation and book will be next out. Figure in August, after the 9/11 commission hangs Bush out to dry.

I can say hangs Bush out to dry based on the memo that was leaked to Hannity which says that will happen. If anyone still doesn't know what I am talking about(moderator please post link) once the 9/11 commission report comes out, the Dems under Sen. Rockefeller will add an addendum to the report detailing the Democrat response to the report.

Thinking about this for a moment I figured that when Bush meets with the commission today, he would say something like this.

"This is an election year. You know that this report will be modified by the Dems for political reasons. If this does occur and I win reelection despite this, you can be sure that any democratic district in this country that put their name to the addendum will have all funding to their district vetoed come budget time."

Bush is going to tell the truth. Clinton is going to lie.

Nuff said.

Clarke has delusions of grandeur. In other words, he is completely whacko.

Is this really a sentiment that mainstream Democrats want to support and echo?

Apparently.
