It is becoming clear that we have a rudderless state that is no more competent in foreign policy than in domestic policy. This should come as no surprise. As our socialist system keeps intervening in domestic affairs that individuals should be accepting responsibility for, the problems increase. Applying these same principles in foreign affairs does not work any better. We have a raft of foreign interventions that have been disastorous.

As they multiply, the problems get worse just as in domestic policy. The United States does not have a monoply on geniuses that have the wisdom to solve everybody's problems. We continue to muddle along, wasting our resources as well as creating havoc, domestically as well as foreign. The clock will finally stop when the economy falls in the hole and we become a third-world debtor nation with no means to support our grand designs.
