I don’t figure I’m liberal, or “upset” about the aircraft carrier thing. I agreed with a poster, in another thread, that we shouldn’t be using the military as a backdrop for campaign appearances. That’s all I said. BykerBabe took offense at a tiny little part of what I said and now we’re on about whether the president was in a “costume” or a “uniform”. Which is so far beside the point..
I don’t remember anything with Clinton and flags and France but that was, what, thirteen years ago? Was he wearing an army costume when he did whatever you’re talking about?
My objection is to your entire posting history. My strongest objection is to your lack of respect for the military. I don't consider that a tiny little part of anything. Only a liberal would.
Btw, it's called an Army uniform, not a costume. There are several different Army uniforms, but none of them are cosumes. The uniform President Bush wore when he boarded the USS Lincoln from the plane he had just flown, is called a flight suit. If you had spent some time in the service, you might understand the significance of that moment to all the men and women aboard the Lincoln, and indeed to all the men and women in the service who shared that moment vicariously. But you chose liberalism instead of the uniform, and so you don't. /blatant plagarism
Liberals loved it when Clinton did it. Which is my point. Clinton got a pass from the liberal media, on everything. And look at who is pointing the blame on Bush, you.
.
You MUST wear a flight suit when you fly. It's made of a material which resists fire.
(costume, my a**)
