Retired General Wayne Downing is on MSNBC; he is saying that Clarked HIRED him........and he is surprised at what Clarke is saying; he said EGO is involved -- and that Clarke might have been upset because he didn't have the access that he had in the Clinton administration.

I can see where the Bush Admin. would be wary of Clarke since the previous admin. had been utterly ineffective in regards to terror. Clarke is undermining the war on terror as we speak. Will the media call him on that?
