Why hasn't Drudge broken the Kerry assassination plot story?

I've got to believe he's a little gun'shy after the intern story blew up in his face. He's waiting for solid proof.

Could be. But the assassination plot story is much more highly sourced than the intern story. Kerry doesn't deny being at the meeting and many people have stated on the record that the plot was discussed during the meeting. CBS ran the Clarke story based solely on his word.
